Allied Water Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Underground Utility Laborer to join our field crew. This position supports sewer, septic, water main, and underground utility installation and repair projects.
The ideal candidate has previous hands-on labor experience, is comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work, and is willing to learn specialized skills in the underground utility industry. Experience in sewer, septic, or water infrastructure is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sewer, septic, and water main installations, repairs, and replacements.
- Support excavation, trenching, and job-site preparation.
- Move, position, and connect pipes and other construction materials under the direction of experienced crew members.
- Assist with backfilling, grading, and site cleanup.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow instructions from crew leaders and experienced operators.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
- Perform additional field duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous labor, construction, landscaping, or other hands-on work experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
